英语阅读课课堂用语梳理

　　阅读课在小学英语高段可能会出现，在中学阶段则是十分常见的课型。阅读课的教学主要涉及到对文章内容的理解，阅读技巧和方法的掌握。这就要求教师在这些操练环节能够做到方法得当，衔接自然。然而不少教师在处理课堂用语这一块存在在很大不足，不知如果地道表达出游戏等环节的描述。接下来，笔者对阅读课教师课堂用语进行归纳。

　　1. Guessing the Story

　　适用学段：小学高年级，中学

　　教授内容：阅读Pre-reading部分

　　训练学生：通过猜问题有目的的去读文章

　　课堂用语：

　　T: You need a piece of paper. Alright, and don’t read…Still, your book is closed. OK? I want you to guess. What do you think? What’s your guess? What are Zhu Hui’s sister and mother doing? Alright? So, you’ll write: Zhu Hui’s sister and mother are…What do you think? What are Zhu Hui’s younger brother and father doing? They’re… Zhu Hui’s older brother… What do you think he’s doing? And what is Zhu Hui doing? So you will write. You can follow just like this. Work with a partner, and try to guess. What are they doing? Alright? Go ahead.

　　(Students write their guesses of the story 2-3 minutes)

　　T: Alright, I want to hear some people’s guesses. Can I hear someone’s? Yea, stand up.

　　…

　　T: OK, that’s a good guess.

　　…

　　T: You guys are excellent. Very good. Alright, so now, open your book, to page 35. Now, we’re going to read carefully and check and see, were we right? Were our guesses right?

　　2. Sharing the Reading

　　适用学段：小学高年级，中学

　　教授内容：阅读While-reading部分 快速读

　　训练学生：对文章内容的把握，感情态度的理解

　　课堂用语：

　　T: Alright, are you ready to read about Jane’s vacation? OK. So, we’re going to learn about her vacation. But, we’re going to do it in a special way. So, we have two days. One of them is Monday. This is what she wrote she did on Monday. And this is what she did on Tuesday. So, listen very carefully. You guys, on the front, You’re going to be student A. You will read Monday. Just read Monday. You guys, you will be Student B. You will read Tuesday….I will only give you 40 seconds! You have to read very quickly! You only have to think about one question: Did Jane have a good time on Monday? Remember, if you are Student A, just read…

　　(Student A and B read separate passages—40 seconds)

　　T: OK, close your book. Now, can remember what you read? Talk to the person next to you. With your partner, what do you remember? Do you think it was a good day, or a bad day? And why.

　　(Pairs of A’s and Pairs of B’s talk about what they read –1minute)

　　T: OK, you had a chance to talk? Alright, now I want you to share with someone that read something else. What you’ll do is you guys will turn around and talk to these guys. I want you to share with each other. …

　　(Mixed groups of A’s and B’s share what they read ---1 minute)

　　…

　　T: Very nice job.(clap hands) Let’s read the passage together again, we’re going to…

　　3. Scanning with Pictures

　　适用学段：小学高年级，中学

　　教授内容：阅读While-reading部分 Scanning

　　训练学生：利用图片信息对文章的理解

　　课堂用语：

　　T: …OK, fantastic. Good. Now, what I want you to do…is just look at these pictures. Alright? Not reading yet! With your partner, what do you see? What kind of weather? And what are they doing? Go ahead, with your partner.

　　(Students talk in pairs about the pictures 1 minute)

　　T: OK, How about…Can someone tell me what they see in picture A? How’s the weather in picture A?

　　S1: It’s a sunny day.

　　T: OK. So it’s what?

　　Ss: It’s sunny.

　　…

　　T: You can open your book to page 41. We want to know which letter is for which picture. Let’s do this one first. Just read the first one. I want you to very quickly look through, if you find any of these words, circle it. Just read through quickly and circle.

　　(Students scan the reading passage for the target words—2-3minutes)
